Lesson #5 : Change Process
I really enjoyed the video of "A Vision of Students Today." (I don't think it really related much to the other documents of the blog. If you can explain it to me then leave me a comment.) I did not know Radiohead released a CD which let the consumer pay the amount they thought it was worth. I like that idea, but the record companies do not. I don't think music should be free, but I think a CD should cost around 5-7 dollars (even a new release). The USB bracelets...Whoa when did this happen? How come I didn't know about this? I guess it isn't that popular yet, but I am sure going to tell everyone I know. Since USB jump drives came out, I always wondered when this day would come...when CDs would be replaced by USBs.

Hey Tech Stuff!
Thanks for the question - here goes.... The module title and subject is Change. We live in the Age of Information. We live during the time of the largest, fastest rate of technology implementation, yet our education system and methods are almost exactly the same as they were 200 years ago. Where is the change in the classroom? We know that the classroom "patrons" have changed, why hasn't the system changed to better serve them? The rest of the module illustrates the ways other industries have changed to better server their "patrons". How was that?
